Interview Issues
Check browser permissions for microphone and speaker. Ensure the device isn’t muted. Try Chrome or Edge for best compatibility.
This usually indicates a weak internet connection or a bad phone connection. ReadingMinds requires a stable connection. Try to move closer to your Wi-Fi router or a spot with more bars on your phone.
Check your Interview Guide settings. Ensure follow-up probing is enabled and the max follow-ups per question is set above 0.
If the respondent gave very short answers, Emma may move through questions faster. Consider adding more probing depth or explicit follow-up instructions in your Interview Guide.
Dashboard & Results
Results appear in real-time as interviews complete. If interviews are in progress, check back in a few minutes. Ensure the study is in “Active” status.
Emotion detection uses intensity scores from 1 to 9. Tags below 3 may represent subtle signals worth reviewing manually. Check the intensity score by hovering over any tag in the dashboard.
Auto-generated themes are based on AI analysis of all transcripts. You can customize theme categories in Study Settings to better align with your research framework.
Low PEP scores can indicate genuine respondent sentiment. Compare against the emotion breakdown to see if hesitation or indifference signals are dominant.
Account & Access
Reset your password at the login page. If using SSO, contact your IT administrator. For persistent issues, reach out via our contact page.
Go to Settings → Team → Invite. Enter email addresses and choose a role. There’s no additional cost for team members.
Go to Settings → Billing → Change Plan. Changes take effect at the next billing cycle. Contact support if you need an immediate change.
Data & Privacy
Go to Study Settings → Data → Request Deletion. Export your data first; deletion is permanent and irreversible.

No. Customer interview data is never used for AI model training. Your data remains confidential and is used solely for your research purposes.
